This Resort was simply lovely. To start with the highlights:
The Resort - beautifully presented in a lovely spot, well laid out, maintained and facilities were very good. The pool was gorgeous, clean and the centre of the resort.
The rooms were generous size with most things catered for, tidy.
The Food - Very good, large portions and while a little pricey (what resort isn't!), you certainly got value for money. Buffets were good variety and the Friday night show very entertaining.
The staff - were excellent. Friendly, attentive, accommodating, smiling and genuinely nice people. Shout out to Jay on reception and his colleagues, Suesue and Jessie at the kids club, Taga and the crew in the bar and food area's. The guys by the pool area and dive centre too. All great, helpful people. The cleaners were always nice and respectful also. I even noted one day they had local students in on work experience, awesome to see.
SPG benefits and kids eat free deal - awesome! Saved us a truck load, thank you!
I can not complain about anything really but could suggest some small improvements to make the place even better:
The Resort - The pool had no defined shallow end. While it had a step area that was shallow and a very shallow baby pool, the minimum depth was 1.2 metres elsewhere. Just a gradual slope at one end where kids can frolic and parents relax would make a huge difference.
The food - a bit more variety for the kids, maybe more healthy options (lots with chips!) but that's all. Otherwise generous sizes which our kids loved.
The staff - no comment on those there. Can I suggest having a medical person on or near the resort. We had a sick child and was difficult to get treatment. Not easy to organise I realise.
SPG and benefits - the staff didnt seem to know about the Kids eat free deal. We had to explain it a few times and show the paper vouchers. It would be good to have that on the room manifest we saw they had so it is not a hassle, like they did for SPG.
One other comment - the Golf course was in disarray. I know it is not owned by Aggie Greys but you do advertise it as available where it was completely overgrown and unrecognisable as a golf course! Perhaps this should be updated in your advertising
Again, all of the above are suggestions and I would happily recommend the resort as it is a great spot. Keep it up team and I am sure you'll see me again in years to come!
